Just finished both books in quick succession. Its a long time since I enjoyed reading anything so much.I have a 93 yr old mother who we managed at home until recently when we decided to admit her to a wonderful care home,a dog with a malignancy and a poor prognosis,a daughter who lives to ride ( pet name ‘Tootie’) and a long held desire to live in France -so you can see how well I identified with this book.Lesley , not only are you a wonderful writer but you were an even better daughter-I take my hat off to you!I am a doctor but could not manage to provide my mother with the quality of life which you managed ,although I did my best.Your books are an inspiration and I hope there will be a sequel before long!Thankyou!

Thank you so much for your really kind comments, very much appreciated. What an amazing series of coincidences!
I am writing Book III right now and hope to publish by Spring this year, if I can meet the deadline I have set myself.
